Hugh Hudson, a great friend of Kevin and Dave's and the father of Jay and Annie Hudson, two of the original members of Kevin and Dave's first band "Foundations", passed away today from complications of pneumonia. There are many Hugh Hudson stories we will relate on this website in the future. 2005 has been a tough year for all of us, first losing Dave's father, Herb Newman, another of our original fans and supporters, and now Hugh Hudson, whose basement we commandeered for several years during the years of "Foundations." Hugh we will sure miss you.

Fores Liggins Guests with Kevin and Michelle at The Monon Coffee Company in Broad Ripple
-
One of Kevin's Chemistry/Physics students this year at Broad Ripple is an excellent saxophone player, Fores Liggins. Fores joined Kevin and Michelle as they christened a new venue for Audio Diner, the Monon Coffee Company in Broad Ripple. Joe and Kevin have been coming to the Monon for almost 10 years on a fairly regular basis. For about 8 years Kevin and Joe would spend several mornings a week in the Monon drinking a cup of coffee or tea and talking with locals before taking a 6-mile jaunt on the Monon trail. That schedule has changed a good bit in the last year since Kevin started teaching at Broad Ripple and Joe took work with McGraw-Hill.
